HomeMy WebLinkAboutStaff Review STAFF REVIEW COMMENTS NO. 1 Project: PLACE PROPERTIES (REZ) — (07-00500092) PLANNING 1. Please revise the rezoning map, clearly labeling each area. Each should have a letter or number and should correspond to a set of Metes and Bounds with the same letter or number. In total, there should be 5 areas being rezoning with 5 sets of metes and bounds. 2. Identify the existing and proposed zoning for each area. This should read for the R-4 tracts: Existing Zoning: R-4, Multi-family and A-O, Agricultural Open Proposed Zoning: R-4, Multi-family For the Floodplain this should read: Existing Zoning: R-4, Multi-family and A-O, Agricultural Open Proposed Zoning: A-O, Agricultural Open 3. The metes and bounds must be tied to a College Station monument. 4. The metes and bounds that were submitted on May 7th did not close. We have completed checking Metes and Bounds for Area 1 that were submitted on May 11th. These also do not close. Specifically, please check the call for L60 in the metes and bounds (page 3, 5th call from the bottom), also there are 5 additional calls in the M&B on page 9 (last 5 calls) that are not included in the line table. They are called out between calls for L227 and L228. However, these may not be the only mistakes. 5. Metes and Bounds for Area 2 that were submitted on May 11th do not close. We were unable to find any discrepancy between the line table and the Metes and Bounds that were submitted. 6. We are continuing to check the remainder of the revised metes and bounds that were submitted on May 11th. Please be aware that if the next round of metes and bounds do not close, you will not be placed on the June 7th P&Z meeting, and will be required to pay a renotification fee for the advertisements that are going out this week in addition to the $500 review fee. 7. Please submit all revised documents through the front desk for proper routing and department tracking. Be aware that all deadline are Monday at 10 am. 8. Please submit complete contact information for the owner. The application was incomplete.
