Gander Mountain is closing Friday morning and they would like to have the final plat filed omorrow afternoon. The owner just signed the mylar and I should receive it today via FedEx. I'll bring it to you ASAP. David Gwin ias been working on the development agreement and letter of credit. It's my understanding that all of that has been worked out ind we're ok to file. She physically takes the plat to the Court House for iling. She's great about filing the plat when needed and then calling the closing agent with the filing information. The plat needs to be recorded at the time of the closing, and lot before, but it must be recorded prior to the recordation of the other documents, particularly the Deed. I've notified them that we're closing on Friday norning and need to have it filed. The City is the only one authorized to file the plat at the Clerk's Office. Remember that Lone Star must put up a new letter of credit each year until Appomattox is built or dropped from the thoroughfare plan in an amount based on a new engineer's estimate.
