Explanation of appeal/waiver request: Waiver of requirement for a 10' paved sidewalk with tree
wells along the building facade facing the right-of-way.

GENERAL APPEALS/WAIVER REQUEST
The following specific variation from the ordinance is requested:
Elimination of recxuired 10' sidesalk and tree ..ells along building facade. Landscaui

The unnecessary hardship (s) involved by meeting the provisions of the ordinance other than
financial hardship is/are:
sidewalk will be located outside a gated facility and along a buildinq facade with no
windows or doors and will treminate at a reauired screening wall. this sidewalk_ is an
unnecessary increase in impervious cover which we propse to leave as landca.pe area in
front of the building.
The following alternatives to the requested variance are possible:
Eliminate the paved area while providing landscainq and trees in an amount equal to the
original requirement in front of the building.
