As you may know,BVSWMA is jointly owned by both the Cities of Bryan and College Station,however, the management functions of BVSWMA are assigned to the City of College Station Public Works Department. I am requesting that, as other internal department applications to the Planning and Development Services Department, the fee for the rezoning application be waived. Requirements regardless of what the property is zoned: • UTILITIES: "Activities not wholly contained within a building that abuts single- family residential uses shall construct a 20-foot buffer yard with a six-foot (6') privacy fence, in accordance with Section 7.6, Buffer Requirements." • GOVERNMENT FACILITIES AND UTILITIES: "Activities not wholly contained within a building shall not be located within 100 feet of a single-family residential use unless buffered by a 25 foot buffer yard and a six-foot privacy fence, in accordance with Section 7.6, Buffer Requirements." r= �+i C`rr1 3 .J �C/Y-e�vl l,4 G t u t i I f 1 L D ire L rci I c4 tCvZ_ Non-Residential Archite ral Standards (M-1 and M-2 exempt): Required Mechanical Equipment Screening: "All mechanical equipment shall be screened from view or isolated so as not to be visible from any public right-of-way or residential district within 150 feet of the perimeter boundary of the subject lot or tract, measured from a point five feet (5') above grade. Such screening shall be coordinated with the building architecture, materials, colors and scale to maintain a unified appearance. Acceptable methods of screening are: encasement, parapet walls, partition screens, brick/stone/masonry walls or fences. If the proposed utilities are located within a building, the building must meet the NRA of the UDO, including building massing, materials**, colors, bicycle facilities, etc. **If the combination of buildings on site do not exceed 5,000 square feet in area, then 100% stucco, EIFS, high build textured paint or hardboard is permitted. If the structures exceed 5,000 square feet, but are under 20,000 square feet in area, 10% of facades visible from the right-of-way must be stone or masonry.
