Total zoned for industrial uses is 1,010 acres - 200 acres is A&M or Veterans Park. Effectively, 2% of the city is zoned for industrial uses, and 1% of the City is vacant and already zoned appropriately. Approximately 1700 acres are shown on the Comprehensive Plan for Industrial both inside the City and in the ETJ (1400 acres for inside City limits only).
