This project dose meet the following requirements listed in the General Development Stands section of the City Code for this type of variance: a. The applicant is a chain restaurant to be developed as a single detached building, and b. The proposed colors are part of it's corporate branding, and c. Red Lobster will provide all of the alternative color schemes proposed to be used. The unnecessary hardship involved by meeting the provisions of the ordinance other than financial hardship is/are: The colors utilized in Red Lobster's building have been selected by professional designers to individualize their appearance in a visually appealing and attractive style. The following alternatives to the requested variance are possible: At this time, no other alternatives have been explored due to the expected compliance with the city's ordinance for the requested variance and the limited options to keep with the restaurants desired design.
