Project Number: 07-00500275
Item: Public hearing, presentation, possible action, and discussion on a Final Plat for Block A,
Lot 2R of Eastmark Phase 2 being a Replat of Lots 2A and 2B consisting of 2 lots on 1.743
acres located at 909 Southwest Parkway East, generally located at the northeast corner of
Southwest Parkway and Central Park Lane.
Applicant: Hank Roraback
Staff Recommendations: Staff recommends approval of the final plat.
Item Summary: This item is for consideration of a Final Plat being a Replat of Block A, Lot 2 of
Eastmark Subdivision Phase 2. The property owner of both lots is seeking to replat the lots into
one lot. It is anticipated that the undeveloped portion of the lot will be developed as offices. An
office building for the United Way currently exists on Lot 2A.
Comprehensive Plan Considerations: The Comprehensive Land Use Plan designates the lots
for Office uses and they are appropriately zoned A-P Administrative-Professional. Southwest
Parkway is a Minor Arterial and Central Park Lane is a Minor Collector on the City's
Thoroughfare Plan. The Replat is in compliance with the City's Comprehensive Plan, Unified
Development Ordinance, and Subdivision Regulations.
Item Background: The subject property was annexed in 1971 and zoned A-P upon annexation.
The property was originally platted in 1982 in the Eastmark Phase 2 Subdivision as one lot and
later subdivided into two lots in 2004.
Budgetary & Financial Summary: None requested.
Related Advisory Board Recommendations: Parks Board: Because this is not a residential
plat, the Parks Board will not review this plat.
Commission Action Options: The Commission has final authority over the final plat. The
options regarding the final plat are:
■ Approval
■ Denial
