I am submitting a revised landscape plan for the new building owned by Dr.Privett at
1109 Rock Praire road.I had to make some changes in plant layouts and quantities due to
the site being somewhat different from the site plans I received in June 2006.
One reason was Dr.Privett's dislike of Liriope so I used an extra 102 Dwarf yaupon.
Another reason for changes is the location of telephone and television ca es m the back
and an electrical transformer in the way along with the cables.With the large 15 gal.Wax
myrtles,we didn't need to cram them closer together so there are 31 vs.35.I added the
other 4 to the corners of the building.Up front by the parking lot the dimensions were
different so the quantities will look different but the total hollies is still 104.
The middle driveway is located differently so I only have 8 Lacebark elms up front vs.9
Their spacing is still around 20-25'
The sign will not be installed yet so I could not plant 10 Indian Hawthorn .But we plan to
plant them after the doctor gets the sign installed.
I came up with 3,535 points as the new total.The points required was 1,392

Sorry we have one more request. Please denote a temp. curb at the property line for the proposed apron stub-
out for the connection to the Sulik Sheridan Property.
Just to re-cap, please remove all fire lane notations except for the front entrance throat depth and the sign.
Please make a reference to Note #20 regarding the detention pond grading on the actual site plan.
As these changes are minor please go ahead and submit for stamping (7 full sets, 2 site plans only, 1 landscape
plan only, 1 - 11x17 grading and erosion control plan).

4.Barricade detail shown.I suggested to Dr.Privett and drew a sketch for him to delete 2
parking spaces and give the large Post oak tree a lot more space vs.all the paving
There are 18 more spaces than required in parking spaces. It will be a futile effort to save
the tree as shown in the too small of an island.
5.Crepe myrtles shown with 1-'A" cal..still only 40 pts.per tree,non canopy

8.Needlepoint holly added to legend
9.Boxwood or Buxus japonica is a hardy,reliable plant in Bryan and College Station.
I have been using it for almost 28 years in this area with no major problems

10.I was not told or advised about a masonry wall and details.I am doing the landscape
and irrigation plans at no charge to Dr.Privett.Perhaps the engineers or architect could do
the wall and details?
11.I measured over 200' along the back property line.Specs in the landscape ordinance
call for a tree every 25'.I had 8.It also calls for a 5 gal.shrub 3' apart.I used 10 gal at 5'
spacing.If you look at the plants on phase 2,Wax myrtles,its getting to be a jungle
there.The shrubs are outgrowing the Water Oaks. So wouldn't a 5' spacing be acceptable
Please check the site on Phase 1.
12.General note added about groundcover or grass.I also had notes on my plan showing
sod or hydro mulching for all other areas not paved or planted with shrubs.
MISCELLANEOUS
I.Double check valve is now labeled on the irrigation plan
2.Note added that backflow devices must be installed and tested as per City Ordinance
#2394
