I have attached the ordinance that was approved by Council for this property. Staff excluded the area identified for park based on the application that was submitted which indicates a change from single family low density to light commercial. The area in question is the Gulf State Easement and from what I understand, undevelopable anyway. This area is identified as part of the linear park that will one day run from University Drive down to Lick Creek Park. I spoke with Molly about this, and while parks can go in any zone, and it could be rezoned to the C-3, since it is mainly undevelopable anyway, we would prefer that it remain A-O. Let Jason or I know if you have any other addition questions. I believe I faxed the application to you a few weeks ago, so you can verify that information. Thanks- Lindsay Lindsay B.
