HomeMy WebLinkAboutStaff Report i4A1 Al G ( 1"41 ° GREENSWORLD REZONING 6q SAM pp�60011- The property ow is requesting C-1 General Commercial T_4.4' 1"' zoning for the property immediately south of Douglass Nissan on the- highway: The existing Commerical-Industrial zoning used to allow all General Commercial uses; but since the adoption of the UDO, zoning districts are no longer cumulative. Commercial-Industrial zoning now focuses on providing goods and services that will primarily serve other commercial and industrial enterprises while C-1 remains commercial for the general public. Slide (comp plan graphic) The Land Use Plan designates the area as Regional Retail. A rezoning to C-1 General Commercial on this property is in compliance with the Comprehensive Plan. The subject property will have access via the Highway 6 frontage road. Staff and the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommend for approval. We have not received any comment regarding this request. May I answer any questions?
