HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance , O -:„ 6 ORDINANCE NO. 2911 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12, "UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE," SECTION 4.2, "OFFICIAL ZONING MAP," OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BY CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AFFECTING CERTAIN PROPERTIES AS DESCRIBED BELOW; DECLARING A PENALTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,TEXAS: PART 1: That Chapter 12, "Unified Development Ordinance," Section 4.2, "Official Zoning Map," of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College Station, Texas, be amended as set out in Exhibit"A", attached hereto, and made a part of this ordinance for all purposes. PART 2: That any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day such violation shall continue or be permitted to continue, shall be deemed a separate offense. Said Ordinance, being a penal ordinance, becomes effective ten (10) days after its date of passage by the City Council, as provided by Section 34 of the Charter of the City of College Station. RON SILVIA,Mayor ATTEST: 0 rA/1 A `.ld; Co ie Hooks, ity ecretary APPROVED: City Attorney P EXHIBIT"A" That Chapter 12,"Unified Development Ordinance," Section 4.2,"Official Zoning Map," of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College Station, Texas, is hereby amended as follows: The following is rezoned to apply an OV Overlay Zone as provided in the Unified Development Ordinance,Article 5, Section 5.8A: All properties along the east side of State Highway 6 for a depth of one thousand (1,000) feet measured from the State Highway 6 eastern right of way line, as State Highway 6 runs south from the centerline of Spring Creek to the northern right of way line of Greens Prairie Road,as they all exist on this day, and shown graphically in Exhibit"B"; All properties located between the east side of the State Highway 6 right of way and the west side of the Lakeway Drive right of way between the southern right of way line of Greens Prairie Road to the northern Venture Drive right of way, as they all exist on this day, and shown graphically in Exhibit"B"; All properties along the west side of State Highway 6 for a depth of one thousand (1,000) feet measured from the State Highway 6 western right of way line as it exists on this day,as State Highway 6 runs south from the south right of way line of Arrington Road to the north right of way line of State Highway 40, as they all exist on this day, and shown graphically in Exhibit"B"; All properties along the north side of State Highway 40 for a depth of one thousand(1,000) feet measured from the northern State Highway 40 right of way line as it exists on this day, as State Highway 40 runs east from the centerline of Spring Creek to the western right of way line of State Highway 6, as they all exist on this day, and shown graphically in Exhibit"B"; All properties along the south side of State Highway 40 for a depth of one thousand(1,000) feet measured from the southern right of way line of State Highway 40 as it exists on this day,as State Highway 40 runs east from the proposed alignment of Arrington Road to State Highway 6, as they all exist on this day, and shown graphically in Exhibit"B"; and All properties along the west side of State Highway 6 for a depth of one thousand (1,000) feet measured from the west right of way line of State Highway 6, as State Highway 6 runs south from the south right of way line of State Highway 40 to the 2006 City of College Station City Limit line, as they all exist on this day, and shown graphically in Exhibit"B". 6 (1 -07q, ORDINANCE NO. 2554 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12, "ZONING", SECTION I, "ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICTS, PROVISION FOR AN OFFICIAL ZONING MAP", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BY CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AFFECTING CERTAIN PROPERTIES AS DESCRIBED BELOW; DECLARING A PENALTY, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
