Box 9960 College Station, Texas 77842 Phone 979.764.3570 / Fax 979.764.3496 CITY OF COLLEGE STATION MEMORANDUM December 20, 2007 TO: Pete Kountakis, owner, via fax 774.1236 FROM: Jason Schubert, Staff Planner SUBJECT: ALLSAFE STORAGE (NRA Review) Staff reviewed the above-mentioned Non-Residential Architectural plans as requested. I have also spoken with Lance Simms, Assistant Director, regarding this project and have the following list of staff review comments that detail items that need to be addressed: • The building elevations for Building C were not provided in the plans. However, Staff understands that most of Building C's elevations are the same as Building D. As such, the labels for the elevations may be revised to state which elevations they will also represent on Building C. This will require the applicant to initial those revisions (new labels) on the plans. • As per the letter from the City of College Station letter dated May 23, 2005, the façades facing Wellborn Road are to use material approved by the Unified Development Ordinance and are to incorporate architectural relief elements (see arrows on attached letter). If the applicant does not want to include the architectural relief elements then there is the option not to provide them as long as the entire façades match the existing office façade (stone material). This requirement applies to Building C and Building D. Please revise the elevations. Please address the comments and submit the following information for further staff review: One (1) set of revised building elevations If there are comments that you are not addressing with the revised elevations, please attach a letter explaining the details.
