After careful consideration of the application, Staff will be recommending denial of the request. Given the Council's policies on growth management in the ETJ and City fringe, and compatibility with a majority of the property in the general area,we feel that residential attached is too dense for the area. We will be proceeding with the application for the February 7th P&Z meeting and the February 28th Council meeting unless we receive written notice from you regarding the status of the application. The ordinance for the adoption of the exempt annexation is scheduled to also be heard on February 28`h. Please let me know if there will be any change in the status of the application.
